A little bit of kindness

A little bit of kindness is priceless and free.

I came across an article about a woman who had flown with her baby, for the first time. Already stressed about flying alone with the little one, the situation did do not get better with the attitude of other passengers. To make things worse the baby started crying the moment they were in the air. This some of the passengers found disturbing and stressed the mother to get the baby quiet. Only one passenger decided to help her out and thanks to the stranger, the flight went well (no bloodshed).

Another similar story is about a 4-year-old. Meeting a (for him) stranger during a baseball game and decided to keep her company throughout the game. Eventually, he fell asleep in the woman’s arms.

Being a parent to small children is stressful. And being surrounded by judgemental people is not helping the situation. If you want the situation to improve: lend out a helping hand instead of slapping someone in the face.

Someone once said: It takes a village to raise a child.
Guess what? Whether you like it or not: you are a part of the village. How you react to a child and how you treat it (even though you are not the parent), teaches the children how to treat others, like you.

A little bit of kindness can do a lot.

Until the next time: Take care!
