Done writing for today
I am officially done for today.
I started the day with a text I had only worked on a while ago. After working on it for a couple of hours, I noticed half of the text was missing (yeah, I know, right! How didn’t I miss that part earlier?). Where is it? I don’t know.
I have most of it written down in one of my notebooks, so I’m not worried. But after the disappointment of having to start over with it, I don’t feel like digging into that right now.
Instead, I wrote a couple of blog posts for Medium. That went quickly and easily because I already knew what I wanted to write about.
After that, I tried to open up another story to continue.
With my luck, I couldn’t open the story.
It’s just one of those days when nothing goes the way I want to. What I’ve learned from previous days like this one, is that on these days, I should not be doing anything at all. Or I will regret it in the end.
So I’m going to head back to bed.
