I started to watch a series on a well-known provider. But I realized pretty soon, that they had only one season. Bummer!

Luckily there were announced that another season would arrive soon. And I looked forward to it very much, since I rarely find anything that I like to watch.

Then the pandemic flew over the world and everything and everyone found themselves in lockdown. And here we are today, about 2 years later. Picking up the pieces that are left and moving on into a new reality where we learn to live with the changes that have followed the pandemic.

Needless to say that season 2 has not appeared yet and there is no indication of when nor if it will happen.

The media however has been digging its claws into every detail regarding the series. For days, weeks articles would appear, about this series as well as the actor’s personal life.

It came to a point where my interest in seeing the next season died out. Because the mystery around the characters vanished, as I found out more and more regarding the filming circumstances.

This shows the good and bad sides of the media. On one hand the media is needed to get the word out regarding new things: books, films, etc.

Without the media, we would not know about their existence. But on the other hand, its over-enthusiasm can also kill the interest in the subject.

When is it enough?

Lately, I have heard about a comedy that I have become interested in and would like to see. Unfortunately: the movie will not be released anywhere near me until the end of this year. But is already released in other countries which means that the media is all over it and yesterday I read that the main characters will not end up together.

Bummer! I have not even got the chance to see the film, and I already know about the end.

My interest In seeing this movie is down to almost zero. The one thing that still makes me want to see it is that it is a comedy and I need a good laugh.
