How to live a healthier life and lose weight?

Most of us are probably thinking: Gym, Food and Water.

I have a secret to tell you. You need to know this and keep it in mind in everything you do.

The secret is: You are Unique!

That means that your body is unique as well. In such a way that what works for you to learn, to grow and more. May not always work for someone else.

That goes for losing weight as well.

I have struggled with my weight most of my life. If I didn’t find myself to thin, that I was too fat.

Here’s some of the things I have tried:

Gym.

There was a time when I went to the gym 5–6 times a week. For a 2 hour workout. Sounds great doesn’t it?

That was my way of thinking as well. Until I came home after those two hours and found myself crawing for food. Not knowing what to eat, to get the most out of my training: I ate everything that I could find.

Result: Didn’t lose weight. But felt crappy for the rest of the day.

Diet.

There was a period when I tried out one diet after another. My children and I still laugh about it.

They love to remind me about the time I was supposed to eat 6 large meals a day!

My poor stomach couldn’t handle it. So I ended up cutting down on what I was supposed to eat, by half. Sometimes I even skipped meals, because I felt sick of all the food that I had to eat.

I remember one of the diets very well. I received a weekly schedule, for four weeks. With recipes of how to make the meals and how often. Everything neatly written down. Perfect! Right?

Now here’s the funny part: each one of those dishes needed like 50 ingredience’s and I ended up with one meal, I could eat for a whole week. Imagine have to make a dish like that, a couple times a day!

I remember one time when I read out loud, all the ingrediences that I had to put together and ended up having a cracker and some cheese. After all: it stood on the list, among all the other stuff. Good enough for me!
