Review: Witch of Wild Things by Raquel Vasquez Gilliland

Finished reading another chapter.

I just finished reading another chapter from Raquel Vasquez Gilliland’s Witch of Wild Things. This book is definitely growing on me.

When I started reading, I didn’t know what to expect. I found it in the bookstore and thought, Why Not?

I’ve found myself enjoying Raquel’s writing style and how she portrays the characters and their surroundings.

The main character is Sage Flores. She tries to be independent, but her family means everything to her.

She tries to control her heart, but she wants to feel loved.

She had never known her father; her mother had left her and her sisters long ago. As the oldest, she had been expected to take on the responsibility of caring for them.

So when an accident takes the life of her youngest sister, even though Sage was not around, she is the one being blamed.

She leaves everything behind to build a life far away from everyone she loves, including the cute Tenn.

Some years later, she’s being forced to move back home to reset her life and start over.

Coming back home means facing everyone again and dealing with everything she tried to run away from.

I’m enjoying the book and will post an update as soon as I finish reading it. I would have finished it much earlier if my real life hadn’t interfered. It is such an easy-going book, and I’ve enjoyed it a lot.
