The Shift That Changed Everything
From Stuck to Starting: The Moment Everything Began to Shift.
For years, I felt stuck.
Not the stuck that’s loud and dramatic — but the quiet kind — the kind that creeps into your routine, your thoughts, your bones.
I was living, but not alive. I wasn’t growing. I wasn’t creating. I wasn’t reaching for anything. And yet, every time I paused long enough to feel, I knew I wanted more out of life.
But I didn’t know how to get there.
I took long walks to clear my head, hoping the answers would come to me. They didn’t. All I could feel was an inner ache — a kind of restlessness that I couldn’t name.
I had no plan. No tools. No dream I felt allowed to chase. And the few times I spoke up — dared to voice the idea that maybe I wanted something different — the people around me were quick to shut it down.
“Be realistic.”
“Don’t mess with what’s working.”
“You should be grateful.”
Like a crab trying to climb out of the bucket, I was pulled back in — not by cruelty, but by fear disguised as love.
And so I learned to stay quiet. To stay small. I told myself this was life — this was enough — and anything more was selfish or impossible.
